Shotcrete/Concrete
Benefits (when used properly):
Produces
concrete with controlled delay of
slump loss
and workability
Reduces
water requirements greatly
Reduces
segregation and "bleeding"
Reduces
cracking and increases impermeability
Reduces
Concrete/Shotcrete placement time
Helps produce
High early strength
STSPR-2000 meets or exceeds all ASTM and ACI Specifications.
Packaging:
STSPR-2000 is packaged in 55 gal (208 liter) drums, or bulk
tank.
Usage:
SPSPR-2000 is used at a range of 6-1 0 oz. Per 100 lbs. of cement.
When added to mixing water, water demand will be reduced up
to 30%.
The slump loss will be gradual for up to six hours at a tempurature
of 72 F, and up to three hours at a temperature of 120 F when
proper quantities are used. Variations in slump loss and setting
characteristics are a function of the percentage of admixtures
used, cement characteristics, and the mix design selected. An
increase in concrete temperature will cause an increase in slump
loss and a decrease in initial set time.
Precautions:
The use
of STSPR-2000 varies with every application. There are many
possible
successful mix designs, and many variations should be
considered.
STSPR-2000
must be protected from freezing.
Add to
mix, independent of other admixtures.
