Robotic Arms

Shotcrete Technologies' robotic shotcrete arm sets the standard for high-volume shotcrete in tunneling, underground and other applications throughout the world. This innovative boom allows shotcrete to be sprayed safely immediately after blasting. With the Shot-Tech Robotic Arm, shotcrete is now accomplished with simplicity, ease and safely.

The Shot-Tech Robotic Arm eliminates many of the most common problems associated with hand-held nozzling. Built to meet bottom lines and deadlines, the Shot-Tech Robotic Arm is the most efficient and effective method to apply shotcrete. The arm puts more shotcrete where it belongs. And that means you complete projects sooner with improved compaction and better "in-place" shotcrete.

The unique Shot-Tech Robotic Arm is designed for mounting on a variety of vehicles, including flatbed rail cars, trucks and loaders. It provides many thousands of yards of dependable shotcreting for a reasonable investment. The design is simple, so the Shot-Tech Robotic Arm requires minimal maintenance. Plus, the application is remote, or radio controlled, which keeps nozzlemen from working under fresh shotcrete or unsafe areas. This results in safer, more productive working conditions.

Pumping through 3” pipe then split into 2” I.D. shotcrete hoses, one mounted on the excavator spraying the top part, and the second being hand sprayed to the lower part. Continuous high volume shotcrete is in place.

The temporary mounted robot nozzle, using the PTO from carrier was remote controlled by the excavator operator.

After completion the nozzle assembly was detached, stored and the excavator used for other work.
