Shaft Lining

Our innovative shaft lining can be applied immediately after the raise boring is complete. The photo shows a 12’ ID shaft with a vertical 800’ depth completed in two days with our 2” fiber reinforced structural concrete.

Centrifugal Shaft Lining

This ventilation shaft - 1000 ft. deep 14’ ID was lined with a 3” fiber reinforced 8000 psi shotcrete.

Our shaftlining robots; centrifugal and double nozzle have saved numerous mine shafts from collapsing.

Our innovative shaftlining robots should be used ASAP to prevent air slack and fallout.

In extreme bad ground, the raise bore could cut 20’, stop, bring a hose from the bottom up and spray a skim coat, 1/3” with cement slurry, then continue cutting, skim coat, cutting, skim coat etc.

This works best with the double nozzle robot.

The Centrifugal System has a reach from 5’ to 12’

The Double Nozzle System has a reach from 10’ to 35’
